The Pirates! Band of Misfits premiered the first official trailer of the upcoming movie Hunger Games Parody, which marks the 74^th Annual Pirates Games. The 30-second clip was released on Monday, April 2^nd by Sony Pictures Animation and revealed an overview of the characters and their journey in the search for treasure. The clip also showcases some of the shenanigans that they become ensconced in during the course of the story.

The very family friendly animation The Pirates! Band of Misfits is being released worldwide on April 27, 2012 and features characters voiced by actors such as Hugh Grant, Martin Freeman, David Tennant, Jeremy Piven and Emelda Staunton.
