Tsunami warning after 8.7 magnitude earthquake hit Northern Sumatra, Indonesia
According to USGS, the earthquake's depth was of 33 km (20.5 miles), neat the coast of Northern Sumatra.
Reuters reports a 8.7 magnitude earthquake has strike the coast of Indonesia on Wednesday morning (02:38:38 PM - Local Time at Epicenter). At the same time Indian Ocean-wide tsunami watch is in effect.
According to USGS, the earthquake's depth was of 33 km (20.5 miles), neat the coast of Northern Sumatra.
