Matt Stone and Trey Parker's 'The Book of Mormon', a taboo-toppling yet essentially sweet-natured musical about a pair of Mormon missionaries in Uganda, racked up nine Tony Awards Sunday night, including one for Best Musical at the ceremony held at the Beacon Theatre.

Catherine Zeta-Jones hand out the Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical trophy to Norbert Leo Butz for his work in Catch Me If You Can.

Other multiple winners included The Normal Heart and War Horse, which galloped its way to snagging Best Play and a slew of technical awards.
