Though surfaced online two weeks ago, Skrillex latest track titled Make It Bun Dem which also features reggae artist Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, was made available to purchase on iTunes and Beatport on Tuesday, May 1^st. The song has over 4.5 million views on YouTube and it sounds pretty interesting, maybe because of the unusual mix/combine of dubstep and reggae.

Sonny Moore aka Skrillex, the producer behind much of the resurgence of major dubstep as a genre in American dance music, has already notched some impressive collaborations, with the surviving members of The Doors, stopped by Kanye West's hotel room for some shop talk and teamed up with now-girlfriend Britpop star Ellie Goulding on his last EP, Bangarang! among others. At only 24-year-old Skrillex has three Grammys in his hands.

Make It Bun Dem has Marley's bouncy, lush vocals over a reggae beat layered over a wobbly track that would be at home on any of Skrillex's releases. The two seemingly discordant sounds may have worked a little better if Skrillex had been able to resist throwing the stabby synths that herald the coming of the hook. And everyone loves it.
