While Green Day was announced last month (May 14) as one of the bands to play at New Orleans' Voodoo Music Experience in October, recently Skrillex, Jack White, Justice and Neil Young have joined the rest of the lineup. As well, Silversun Pickups, and the Avett Brothers are also to play at New Orleans City Park October 26-28. Despite his seemingly best efforts, Frank Ocean won't be present at the event.

Voodoo began in 1999 and has nearly always been held at New Orleans City Park, except in 2005 when Hurricane Katrina struck two months before the fest's start date, forcing organizers to split the shows between New Orleans and Memphis. The New Orleans performances that year turned into a free welcome-home and tribute show for residents and first responders to the catastrophe.

This year's iteration runs October 26-28 and tickets are already available, while the complete and update Lineup is listed below.
