Singer Robin Thicke released with citation after arrested for marijuana possession in NYC
The R&B singer and father of 22-month-old son Julian Fuego, Robin Thicke had an unexpected stuble with the police as he got arrested on Friday afternoon for marijuana possession in New York City. It was reported that he spend short time in police custody, as he was released with a citation.
A spokesperson for the New York Police Department claimed he was busted at 12:25 P.M. ET near 3rd Avenue and East 24th Street. According to reports, the husband of actress Paula Patton was spotted by patrol officers smoking a joint in the backseat of his chauffeured Cadillac Escalade, and he was the only one to get arrested. Meanwhile, Access Hollywood reported that he was pulled over just for throwing something out of the window. An unknown amount of pot was found when opened the car .
Husband of Paula Patton was then taken to a police station, where he was given a desk appearance ticket. It was said that the son of Canadian actor Alan Thicke was only there for about 15 minutes, and signed autographs for the staff. One source told New York Daily News, "He was taking pictures with the cops. They were coming over to him and getting autographs."
