Hip hop and R&B young artist Sean Kingston was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital Sunday night after being injured in a bad jet skiing accident Sunday evening. City of Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene and rushed the singer and one other person to the hospital.

The 'Beautiful Girls' hitmaker was riding on a jet ski with a female passenger and crashed into a bridge connecting Palm Island to the MacArthur Causeway at around 6 P.M. local time. According to TMZ, he is now in critical condition.

Representative for the R&B singer has since confirmed that an accident did happen, but kept the details a secret. "Sean Kingston was in an accident today. No further details are available at the moment". "He and his family thank everyone for the well wishes".

Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj were among the first to send prayers for the singer's speedy recovery.

Riri simply tweeted, "Sean we praying for u baby," while Justin wrote a longer posting : "got my friend @seankingston in my prayers tonight. a true friend and big bro. please keep him in your prayers tonight as well." Sean's collaborator on "Letting Go (Dutty Love)", female rapper Nicki, added, "My love & prayers are with Sean Kingston & his family."
