Rose McGown, Christie Brinkley wowed at Heart Truth's Red Dress collection in NYC
Rose McGown led the way at the charity fashion event Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection on Wednesday evening, February 8th before the New York Fashion Week kicks off on Thursday. Wearing a stunning Roberto Cavalli gown, Rose wowed the audience, but not for much time as Christie Brinkley entered the stage.
The chiffon dress, designed by Pamella Roland, also featured a shawl and thigh high split. The pair were joined by actress Minka Kelly who opted for a more demure knee-length high necked number by which showed off her slim figure.
At the end of the show, soul singer Chaka Khan led the women in red. Actress Rebecca Romijn spotted at the event, was wearing a strapless tomato red Marchesa gown.
The event has been taking place at NYFW since 2003, when US-based designers first partnered with The Heart Truth to create a range of very special red dresses to raise awareness of the campaign. Check out some pics below.
