Nicole Scherzingers plays Christine during The Phantom of the Opera Royal gala

Along four of the most acclaimed Phantoms - Simon Bowman, Earl Carpenter, John Owen-Jones and Ramin Karimloo, the X Factor USA judge Nicole Scherzinger performed live at the Royal Variety during the Queen Elizabeth's II annual gala "The Phantom of the Opera". Nicole was given the role of Christine opposite the four Phantoms in the title track.

The gala was taped earlier this month, and celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Broadway musical, whilst composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is the one who chosen Nicole for the number. You may watch her impressive performance in here.


Cee-Lo Green performed his single "Anyway" but also took a duet with Leona Lewis on a cover of Queen's "Somebody to Love."

At the same time, the Pussycat Doll performed a brand new single "Pretty" during the "X Factor" Semifinal results show on Thursday night, December 15th. Her contestant Josh Krajcik managed to pass into the final show, next week Dec. 21st.
