Michael Jackson's clothes exhibited in Santiago, Chile before set to auction
According to auctioneer Darren Julien, the costumes will be seen starting May 18 until June 29 at the Museo de la Moda, Santiago.
An unexpected exhibition of costumes which were created by Michael Jackson's longtime costume designers and worn by the popstar during several shows and videos, but also personal fashion effects will be exhibited this month in South America, at Santiago, Chile.
According to auctioneer Darren Julien, the costumes will be seen starting May 18 until June 29 at the Museo de la Moda in Santiago, Chile as part of the Julien's Auctions worldwide tour "Icons & Idols". The clothing will be sold to the highest bidder in December 2nd. A portion of the December auction's proceeds will be donated to Guide Dogs of America and Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas.
The exhibit features items such as:
- Michael Jackson right handed glove covered in crystals, designed by Tompkins & Bush
- Michael Jackson "Beat It" style jacket used on stage during the 1992-1993 Dangerous Tour
- suit for the opening number of the BAD concert tour (designed by Tompkins and Bush)
- the breakaway suit he wore during his BAD tour in the late 1980s.
