Jessie J confirmed for the line-up of London's iTunes Festival this year
The singer will headline the venue along Lonsdale Boys Club on September 21 and joins the likes of Jack White, Usher, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and One Direction in being confirmed for the festival, with more acts set to be confirmed across the coming weeks. The "Price Tag" hitmaker Jessie J has been added to the line-up for London's iTunes Festival this year, after she was replaced last year by Hard-Fi due to her broken leg. The singer will headline the venue along Lonsdale Boys Club on September 21 and joins the likes of Jack White, Usher, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds and One Direction in being confirmed for the festival, with more acts set to be confirmed across the coming weeks.
Jessie J is currently working on material for her second studio album, confirmed to be featured artists such as Ed Sheeran, Rihanna and even Beyonce Knowles. The singer has said that she's also planning on teaming up with fellow The Voice coaches as well in the near future. "I was gutted to not have played at last year's iTunes Festival, so this year is going to be epic," Jessie J told Metro about the line-up. "The Roundhouse is one of my favourite London venues. I can't wait!" Jessie added.
The series of shows will run from September 1–30 - moving from its previous staging in July. Every gig will be at London's Roundhouse. In 2011, the likes of Coldplay, Manic Street Preachers, Chase and Status, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Noah And The Whale and Foo Fighters all played the month-long free event.
