Jennifer Lopez gets emotional while performing a love song
Jennifer Lopez performed on Saturday night at Mohegan Sun casino in Montville and looked very emotional while singing an old single 'If You Had My Love'. She told the audience it was "the first song [she] wrote about love." and continued :"What is love? As the last song I wrote about love…a lot has changed since then." Lopez, who also told the crowd, "Love is a journey" during the show, returned to the stage and finished the performance strong, singing 'Let's Get Loud' and 'On the Floor.'
While she start singing, couple of male dancers which doubled her lover P. Diddy, ex-husbands Cris Judd and Ben Affleck came on stage and danced with her. Lopez actually wrote 'If You Had My Love' in 1999 during her tumultuos three-years relationship with rapper P. Diddy. After they broke up, she married Cris Judd.
The dancing ended with a couple who performed a dance reminiscent of the one Lopez and ex-hubby Marc Anthony did on the tenth season finale of American Idol in May. And as soon as the song ended, J. Lo said : "I took a trip down memory lane" and she started to cry.
"At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments to keep it together," some sources told RadarOnline. "She held it together for one song but then ran offstage crying. She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her. It was really dramatic."
