American singing contest The Voice revealed its second winner as Jermaine Paul
The Tuesday's finale also boasted of celebrity performances such as Daryl Hall and John Oates, Lady Antebellum, and teen popstar Justin Bieber.
On May 8th Jermaine Paul was revealed as the big winner of the American singning contest The Voice. The 32-year-old singer, coached by Blake Shelton which previously performed as backingvocals for Alicia Keys was able to beat the Cee-Lo Green's Juliet Simms, Adam Levine's Tony Lucca and Christina Aguilera's Chris Mann.
Winning by the narrow margin of only 4%, Jermaine was able to give the boot to Juliet, grossing the $100,000 prize in addition to a Universal Republic record deal.
"I just want to say thank you to everyone that voted for me", said Jermaine. A clearly emotional Paul exited the show singing R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" while hugging his wife in celebration.

Earlier that night, Jermaine brought back eliminated contestants Jamar Rogers, James Massone and Pip to cover the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back". Chris teamed up with Katrina Parker and Lindsey Pavao to perform "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve, Tony sang Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way" with Jordis Unga, while Juliet got a helping hand from Jamar, Erin Willett and RaeLynn to sing "With a Little Help From My Friends".
