Actress Selma Blair joins the cast of Sheen's new show 'Anger Management'
The FX network recently revealed two new roles for Charlie Sheen's new comedy have been cast: Charlie's therapist and his ex-wife. While Shawnee Smith has recently agreed to play Sheen's ex-wife, it was Selma Blair the one who took over the role of Sheen's therapist.
According to Deadline.com Blair has been cast in the FX comedy "Anger Management" as the therapist and potential love interest of Sheen's character, a baseball player-turned-anger management counselor named Charlie. Shawnee Smith recently agreed to play Sheen's ex-wife, called Jennifer on the series.
"Anger Management", based on the Adam Sandler-Jack Nicholson film of the same name, is set to begin the production in March and premieres in June on FX. "Anger Management" has received a 10-episode initial order from the network, and doesn't yet have a premiere date. The show will represent Sheen's first major project since he was fired from "Two and a Half Men" last year.
