William McGirt life and biography

William McGirt is a well known American golfer, which turned pro in 2004. McGirt was born in Lumberton, North Carolina. He attended Wofford College and won three collegiate events, including the 2001 Southern Conference Championship, before graduating in 2001. He was the 1998 Southern Conference Freshman of the Year and a 2010 inductee of the Wofford College Athletic Hall of Fame.
