Tyler Thigpen was the first quarterback to play for the Coastal Carolina, which formed a football program in 2002 and didn’t begin play until 2003. He led the Chanticleers program to a 30-8 record as its starting quarterback. Tyler holds the single-season and career passing records in every major statistical category at Coastal Carolina.
