Thomas Cam life and biography

Cam Thomas (born December 12, 1986 in Eagle Springs, North Carolina) is an American football defensive tackle for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Chargers in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Carolina.

The Chargers swapped picks with Philadelphia in the fifth-round, moving up 13 spots to select Thomas, the massive defensive tackle from North Carolina. After the Tar Heels slipped to 64th in the nation in total defense and 56th in run defense in 2008, the gregarious Thomas put the unit firmly on his 335-pound shoulders and helped them improve to No. 1 in the ACC and No. 10 in the nation in run defense a year later.
