2006: (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College - 9/9): During his freshman campaign, he tallied 46 tackles, 1 sack, 1 INT and 1 FF.

o As a freshman, he started at DT and saw time as a TE, and then he took off two seasons from the game

o On offense, he scored 2 TDs on 9 carries and had a 6-yard TD reception

o Cody’s mother worked two jobs as a traveling nurse and a bus driver to care for him and his siblings while growing up
