Siyabonga Sangweni (born 29 September 1981 in Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal) is a South African football (soccer) defender for Premier Soccer League club Golden Arrows and South Africa.

His younger brother Thamsanqa Sangweni plays for AmaZulu.

"I have worked hard to get to this point in the World Cup story and now I want to prove my ability is good enough to play a big part in the tournament," Sangweni says.
