Starter at cornerback...returned kickoffs in 10 games (first four, last six)...ranked sixth in the Big Ten with a 23.2 ypr average…led team with 10 tackles (six solo), as well as two TFL’s (loss of 5 yards) in win over Northeastern...finished third on team with 75 tackles...had 6.5 TFL’s and led team with six pass breakups.

Named to Sporting News’ Freshman All-Big Ten team...team’s NGN Special Teams Newcomer of the Year Award recipient...Named the team’s special teams player of the week for five consecutive weeks (Eastern Michigan through Purdue) and seven overall...earned his sixth and seventh such honors for performances at Michigan and Iowa...made his first start on defense, playing the team’s nickel back against Purdue... started three games (Michigan, Iowa and Ohio State) at cornerback...handled team’s kickoff return duties...ranked seventh in the Big Ten with a kickoff return average of 21.0...had six kickoff returns for 30 or more…earned his first career interception against Ohio State’s Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith...added three tackles and two pass breakups vs. the Buckeyes.
HIGH SCHOOL:
