2010: McBean started and made a pair of stops in the season opener at Jacksonville (9/12). He tied his season high with two tackles against Indianapolis (9/26). McBean recovered his first career fumble in the first quarter when Mario Haggan stripped Titans running back Chris Johnson on the Denver 26-yard line at Tennessee (10/13).
2009: McBean, in his first year as a starter, opened 14 games for the Broncos and totaled 25 tackles (18 solo)... Missed Games 8-9 with a knee injury... Registered multiple tackles eight times, including a career-high four stops (2 solo) at Ind. (12/13)... Had three or more tackles in three of Denver’s final four games.
2008: McBean spent the entire regular season on Denver’s practice squad after he was signed on Sept. 1... Competed in Pittsburgh’s training camp but was waived on Aug. 30.
2007: Selected by Pittsburgh in the fourth round (132nd overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft, McBean saw time in one game (at Bal. 12/30) as a rookie... Spent the first 13 games on the Steelers’ practice squad before he was signed to the active roster on Dec. 11... Inactive for Pittsburgh’s AFC Wild Card Game vs. Jac. (1/5).
COLLEGE:
McBean played two seasons at Oklahoma State University after beginning his collegiate career at Hinds Community College in Hinds, Miss.... Saw time in 24 career games (23 starts) at OSU, totaling 62 tackles (34 solo) 7.5 sacks (59 yds.) and three forced fumbles... Recorded 25 tackles (12 solo) and 4.5 sacks as a senior, helping Oklahoma State rank eighth in the nation and lead the Big 12 Conference with an average of 7.7 tackles behind the line of scrimmage per game... Started all 20 games he played in two years at Hinds and was a first-team all-conference selection as a sophomore after posting 58 tackles and seven sacks that year.
