Ron Bruder is the founder of the Education for Employment Foundation (EFE), which hosts programs that teach Middle Eastern youth basic workplace skills. The foundation has opened sites in Jordan, West Bank, Gaza Strip, Yemen, Egypt, Morocco and soon Tunisia. He is a native of New York City.

In 2003, Mr. Bruder founded The Education For Employment Foundation (EFE), a non-profit, non-governmental organization with the mission of creating employment opportunities for youth in Muslim countries. After identifying critical skill gaps in the local economy, EFE develops and manages targeted training programs which ensure job placement through on-the-ground partnerships with local universities and employers. Four programs are underway – Gaza, Egypt, Morocco, and Jordan

In 1977, Mr. Bruder founded The Brookhill Group. The Brookhill Group owns and manages properties throughout the US with a primary focus on creating investment partnerships to develop and/or redevelop shopping centers, office buildings and multi-family homes. Many of those partnerships were funded by private banking clients of the United States Trust Company.

Mr. Bruder is a contributing author to numerous publications, among them: The New York Times, The New York Law Journal, The American Banker, and The CPA Journal. He has also been the subject of a Discovery Channel feature on Brownfields redevelopment and two Forbes Magazine articles. In his capacity as Founder of the Education for Employment Foundation, Mr. Bruder’s work has been showcased by both the Christian Science Monitor and the Financial Times.

Mr Bruder is a Senior Fellow with the Foreign Policy Association and is an attendee at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, has served as a delegate of the Council on Foreign Relations to the Jeddah Economic Forum, and a contributor and attendee to the US-Islamic World Forum in Doha, Qatar.

Mr. Bruder holds a Bachelors degree (Economics), and Master's degree in Business Administration from New York University (Finance) and a Post Master's degree (Accounting -Taxation).

He was also listed on the TIME 100 for 2011(the most influential people in the world.).
