· First commitment in the class of 2010 for Coach Smart and his staff
· Exploded onto the scene as a junior, earning All-League accolades during his junior and senior seasons.
· Consistently rated as one of the top-15 recruits in the talent-rich state of Ohio by scouting websites
· Used a strong summer with his AAU team, the Mustang Ballers, to exhibit his athleticism and quickness. Most notable performance came at the Adidas Take 5ive Classic in Brandenberg’s hometown of Cincinnatti, Ohio.
· Averaged nearly 20 points, six rebounds and three assists per game during his senior year at Gahanna.
· Helped lead Gahanna to a 28-1 record during his final season, including gaining national recognition with a 71-45 throttling of Columbus Northland, which was ranked #1 in the country at the time. Brandenberg led all scorers with 19 points in the contest.
