Roach Killa life and biography

Roach Killa was born in a small city called Sebha, in Libya which is in the heart of the Sahara Desert. At age ten he and his family migrated to Canada due to educational restraints in Libya. At age 12, Roach was introduced to the life of urban music and from the first sounds of reggae, he fell in love with the culture which inspired him to become a reggae artist. The average artist wouldn't be able to grasp the talent of two genres, but who said Roach Killa was an average artist? He has a proven talent for fusing traditional Desi culture with his unique reggae style and attitude.

Roach Killa's Debut Album The Revolution dropped in September 2009 on MovieBox UK and peaked at No.6 on the iTunes World Charts. His first single Yaara Dildara featuring Shahid Ali Khan reached No.1 on the charts. The video is currently on heavy rotation on all the major global channels such as Zee TV and Brit Asia UK.

Since blowing up on both the reggae and Desi scene, Roach Killa has been touring Europe, Asia, and the Middle East promoting his music and he has created a massive fan base around the world. His songs have even been played on a lot of commercial radio stations across Europe.

His song Talkin was released by EMI/Virgin UK on the Dancehall Selecta CD alongside artists like Sean Paul, Beenie Man, and Elephant Man. Roach Killa's song BOMP produced and recorded in Milan, Italy was released by Sony/BMG and hit no. 15 on the Italian Dance Charts. He recently collaborated with Spragga Benz, an international Reggae Superstar from Jamaica, and Apache Indian, a muliti platinum selling artist from the U.K. Roach has mastered the skill of being a Reggae artist with a twist of hip-hop and infused with a unique Desi style that no other artist can mirror.
