Rishi Rich (born Rishpal Singh Rekhi) is a British Asian Sikh music producer based in London, UK. He is internationally known for his bhangra tracks as well as hindi remixes. He has also produced remixes for various mainstream artisits such as Madonna and Britney Spears, Misteeq, and Craig David. In the past, he has produced many remix albums, for example Love 2 Love. Recently, he has produced two solo albums, including his latest album The Project.

He began his career in the Asian Underground scene and later became internationally known for his Bhangra tracks, his Hindi remixes, and as a pioneer of Indian-R&B fusion music.

Through the Rishi Rich Project, he was responsible for launching British Asian talents who would later gain mainstream success, such as Jay Sean (internationally) and Juggy D.

He has also released his own solo albums, Simply Rich in 2002 with Ishq Records and The Project in 2006 with 2point9 Records and his produced songs have appeared in a number of Bollywood films. He now runs Rishi Rich Productions with contracts with a number of South Asian British artists including H-Dhami, Mumzy Stranger, Veronica Mehta, Tasha Tah and Abbas Hasan.

Recently it has been alleged that Rishi has spent thousands of pounds on a watch which clearly reflects his success as a music producer. At the humble age of 17 ,Rishi Rich released the single "Bombay Jungle" followed by the smash hit album "Love 2 Love" which launched him in to the spotlight as the talented producer behind 2 kool. Following hot on the heels of it's success,2 kool released more hit albums including "Warm it up" , "2 Cool Flava" "Bollywood Fever" and "Klassic Kuts" as well as the "Love 2 Love" series which saw 5 more sucessful chapters, Part 2 won an award for the best selling remix album of 1996. Touring over India with his unique sound, Rishi gained a further knowledge of the in the skills of the music business, recording with such profile artists as Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Kavita Krishnamurti.

1997 saw creative differences for Kool and Rishi decided to go his own way .Teaming up with the talented soul singer Veronica, they formed the R 'n' B sensation VR1. The collaboration culminated in 3 hit albums, "The Next Stage", Love 2 Love Part 5 " and "Voices", an opus of original material that took the market by storm. He has exchanged vibes with many artists including Apache Indian , Bally Jagpal, B21, Sonu Nigam, Premi, Don Dee, Mentor, Saagar Malik, PDM , Amer and Gunjan. Rishi Rich is currently producing Veronica's solo material as well as working on the other mainstream material for the likes of Romina Johnson, Drizabone, Yana and Don Dee.

In 2000, Rishi Rich started the year by signing to Ishq Records, Bally Sagoo's Record Label. A label renowned for his high calibre artists and quality productions. Rishi will only add this reputation with his first solo album 'Simply Rich' . The industry is eagerly awaiting this. Rishi is totally on a roll with the release of MIS-Teeqs 'Roll On' and the track is called 'This is how we do it' (from all All G Soundtrack ).Both charted in the national charts at number 7 in June 2002.Craig David and Mis-Teeq are just of the few top acts that Rishi is fusing with. The talk on the street is that Rishi Rich has just begun.... With an impressive past and a prosperous future, this unique producer is bound to stand the test line and further establish himself and leader in both the Asian and English market.
