Richa Chadda was born and bought up in Delhi. After completing her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, she graduated with a bachelor in History from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Chadda later went on to get a PG Diploma in Social Communications Media from Sophia Polytechnic. She is a passionate reader and an independent thinker; she has a strong sense of politics and has participated in activities that contribute towards social change.
Chadda as a student was equally interested in academics and cultural activities, which made her an all-rounder at school. This zeal for both was instrumental in enhancing her personality.
