Reggie Corner is an American football cornerback for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He was a 4th round selection (114th overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football for University of Akron, he played free safety and cornerback.

PRO: Drafted in the 4th round by the Bills with the 114th overall pick…is the first Akron player to ever be selected by Buffalo….is only the 14th player in school history to be drafted.

2009:
* At NE (9/14) Served as the team’s nickel defensive back and posted a career-high seven tackles.
* vs. TB (9/20) Primarily played as the nickel defensive back in the first half and filled in at the first-string CB in the second half with McKelvin out due to injury. Finished with three tackles and tied for the team-lead with two passes defensed.
* at NYJ (10/18) Recorded his first career interception in the fourth quarter. Also added four solo tackles.
* vs. HOU (11/1) Tied a career-high with seven tackles including one tackle for loss. Earned first start of the season as Bills started in a nickel defense.
* at TEN (11/15) Earned his second consecutive start. Posted five tackles with a pass defensed.
* at JAX (11/22) Earned start at cornerback and led all defensive backs and tied a career-high with seven tackles.
* vs. NYJ (12/3) Tied a career-high with seven tackles including one for a loss.

2008:
* One of four rookie defensive backs to force a fumble and recover a fumble.
* Saw his first NFL regular-season action in Week Five at Ari. (10/5) and racked up two solo tackles.
* Earned his first start of his career at N.E. (11/9).
* Notched his first career forced fumble at K.C. (11/23) which was recovered by George Wilson… turnover led to a Rian Lindell 39-yard field goal, cutting the Chiefs lead to one… recorded three solo tackles.
* Started in place of an injured CB Terrence McGee at NYJ (12/14) and recorded two tackles, both solo.
* Posted season-high four tackles and first-career fumble recovery at Den. (12/21)…takeaway led to a Lindell 28-yard field goal giving the Bills their first lead of the game…totaled four pass break-ups against the Broncos, including one on the game’s final play to seal the victory.

Tied for 2nd on the school career-record list with 15 interceptions…He had at least one interception or pass deflection in 28 of the 48 games he played in…Started 46 of 48 games at Akron. … In 2007, voted team captain … All-Mid American Conference first-team selection… Tied for fourth in the nation with a career-high seven interceptions for 142 yards in returns (20.3 avg) and a touchdown. … Graduated with a degree in early childhood education.

Son of Charlie Carter and Joseph Corner…Earned All-Ohio, All-District and All-County honors in each of his last two seasons at McKinley High School (Canton, OH) where he excelled as a wide receiver…Had three interceptions and 43 catches for 739 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior…As a junior, he had 45 catches, 749 years and eight touchdowns…Was a member of McKinley’s 1998 state championship team…Also was a member of the state champion 4x400-meter relay team for track.
