Ranjitha life and biography

Ranjitha ( born Sri Valli) is an Indian film and television actress. She has acted in a number of Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films.Her first film was a Telugu film titled Kadapa Reddemma. She made her Tamil film debut in the 1992 Bharathiraja film Nadodi Thendral. She played lead roles in Tamil films till 1999. She briefly retired from acting after her wedding. Since her comeback in 2001, she has been acting in supporting roles in films and lead roles in T. V shows.
Ranjitha is one of the beautiful actresses of Kollywood film Industry entered through none other than the legendary director Bharathiraja in the Tamil film Nadodi Mannan with Karthik. She played the role of a village belle in the pre independence era. She continued to act with top stars including Arjun in Jaihind and Karna, Napolean in Tamizhatchi, Mammootty in Makkalatchi, Vijayakanth in Periya Marudhu, Nana Patekar in Bommalattam, Prabhu in Chinna Vaathiyar, etc. In the late 90’s she has enrolled herself in doing mother and sister roles. She played Vijay’s mother in Villu. This dusky beauty entertains her fans with her excellent performances.
