Dutta also did a small role in the Hindi film Guzaarish.
In late 2010, it was reported that Dutta had become one of the Victoria's Secret Angels, the American lingerie brand's main spokesmodels. In a December 2010 cover story for the Indian edition of FHM titled "Moni Kangana: Victoria's First Indian Angel Or Hoax?", Dutta stated she had been signed to a contract by Victoria's Secret. However, the article stated the company, as well as Dutta's agency IMG Models, did not want the information revealed yet.
She is the second model from India to be associated with Victoria's secret, after Ujjwala Raut.
