The unquestioned leader of Alabama’s offensive line who played both guard and tackle.

A member of the Crimson Tide’s 2009 National Championship team while blocking for Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram.

2009 SEASON
Started in all 14 contests and was a first-team All-America selection by the American Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp and the Associated Press, adding second-team honors from The NFL Draft Report.

Named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his performance against Mississippi State (11/14).
Registered a career-high 98 knockdown blocks and 16 touchdown-resulting blocks.
