Mike Gibson life and biography

Mike Gibson is an American football guard for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at California.

Claimed by the Seahawks off of the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad on October 21.

• Originally drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the sixth round (184th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.
• Spent the 2008 season on injured reserve after suffering a shoulder injury during preseason play.
•Saw action at right guard for Seattle in the final three games of the 2009 season.

COLLEGE:

An All-Pac 10 Conference honorable mention selection as a senior and was part of an offensive line that produced an average of 407.5 yards per game and allowed just 11 sacks on 443 pass plays. Transferred to California in 2006 after earning All-America accolades at Solano Community College in 2005. Was also a two-time All-League selection at Solano.

PERSONAL:

Earned all-league, all-metro and second-team all-state honors as a senior at Napa High School and was named the league’s Lineman of the Year. Helped hist team win two conference titles in his junior and senior seasons. Majored in business.
