Michael Palmer life and biography

Michael Palmer is an American football tight end for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He played college football at Clemson.

COLLEGE
In his career at Clemson, totaled 73 receptions for 825 yards and eight touchdowns…His 73 receptions are the second-most for a tight end in school history. Last season, set collegiate highs and the school record for a tight end with 43 receptions for 507 yards and four scores. Was the fi rst Clemson tight end to earn All-ACC honors since 1986 and was also voted a first-team All-ACC selection by Sporting News Magazine. Recorded a stretch of at least one reception in each of his last 11 games at Clemson, which is the longest consecutive streak for a tight end in school history.

PERSONAL
A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia Attended Parkview High School and was named a AAAAA All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Totaled 21 catches for 385 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. Following his senior season, was ranked as the top tight end in Gwinnett County. Was also a three-year starter on the basketball team.
