Maurice Evans (basketball) life and biography

Maurice Evans is an American professional basketball player currently with the Washington Wizards of the NBA. A 6 ft 5 in (1.96 m) guard/forward, Evans weighs 220 lb (100 kg). He is also the Vice President of the NBA Players Association.

• Traveled to Kenya in 2007 with the NBA Players Association as part of the Feeding One Million Campaign, which included the distribution of 11 million pounds of rice to the residents of Kawangware, Kibera and Kagoretti
• Also involved with Feed The Children and the American Red Cross
• Enjoys swimming, tennis and golf
• Favorite meal is chicken and rice
