Madeline Matar, also transliterated as Madeleine Mattar is a popular Lebanese singer. Her repertoire includes popular Arabic music. She is a close friend of the Lebanese singer Diana Haddad.
Her career was started when she accompanied the great singer Wadi'i El Saffi in a grand concert in London where he presented her on stage.
Madeleine Matar participated in the program 'Kaas al Noujoum' and 'Kaas al Fannana Latifa' and she won 'Kaas al Jamhour'. Madeleine Matar has studied oriental singing at the conservatory for 4 years.
In 2001, she singed a contract with Rotana company how produced her first album 'Raydah'. Also she shot music videos of songs ' La Jamal El Shokr', 'Ashka ya Leil ' and 'Raydah'. The clips was filmed under the direction of Said Al Marouk.
Her repertoire includes many popular albums like ' Ala Bali Hawak' in 2003 and 'Bahebak Wadari' in 2005.
Madeleine has performed in concerts in many countries like Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Paris, London, Spain, Morocco.
