As director of the Lincoln National Life Foundation, the late Louis Austin Warren gathered the largest collection of books and pamphlets ever assembled about Abraham Lincoln--more than eight thousand volumes. Warren also directed the Louis A. Warren Library Museum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, from 1928 until 1956.
