Landry Fields is an American professional basketball player for the New York Knicks of the NBA.

Selected by New York in the second round (39th overall) of the 2010 NBA Draft…Signed to contract on Aug. 26, 2010.

The Draft: Quoting Landry: “I knew coming into this draft process I had to show a lot of people what I could do...My game is a lot of versatility. I can shoot the ball pretty well. Athleticism has been great. I think my passing is even underrated for what it is, and high basketball intelligence.”...Quoting Assistant Coach Dan D’Antoni, who coached Landry in Summer League: “He’s smart. He makes hustling look easy, and he makes athleticism look normal. When you look at a lot of kids, you go, `Oh, he’s athletic.’ Well, he’s athletic but he makes it look normal.”...Made pro debut at 2010 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, recording team-highs 15.6 points and 4.8 rebounds with .527 shooting (29-55) over 25.6 minutes in five games (one start) with double-figure points in each game.
