Kennard Cox is an American football cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Pittsburgh.

Signed as a free agent with Seattle April 16, 2010, following a minicamp try- out.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Originally selected by Buffalo in the seventh round (251st overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft. Was waived following training camp (8/28/08). Signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad (10/27/08) before signing to Jacksonville’s active roster later that season (12/8/08) for the final four weeks.
• During the 2009 season, was signed back and forth from the practice squad to the 53-man roster multiple times. Was on the roster five weeks and saw action on special teams in four games posting four total tackles.

COLLEGE:
Started final 24 games, appearing in 47.Totaled 98 career tackles (66 solo) and two interceptions. Started 12 games as a senior totaling 32 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery. Named the team’s most improved player as a junior.

PERSONAL:
Three-year starter at Miami Killian High School, playing wide receiver as a sopho- more and junior before playing quarterback as a senior. Has three cousins playing in the NFL: Torrie Cox (CBTampa Bay), Marcus Hamilton (S San Francisco), and Roscoe Parrish (WR Buffalo). Is single with a son, Quanard, and a daughter, Kanaria.
