Juhi Chawla life and biography

A popular Indian actress with a class and beauty Juhi Chawla was born on 13 November 1967 in Ludhiana in Punjab. More than a decade this cutie-pie of the Bollywood had given a lot of hit films with her elegant performances. Imbibe with all the sophistication; education and politeness Juhi cultivated herself as a perfect woman in every manner. Juhi started her career from modelling. She contested for Femina Miss India title in 1984 and won the crown. Later she won Best Costume Award for the Miss Universe Contest in the same year.

Juhi Chawla became the heartthrob of Indian viewers after the success of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. In 1999 she won the Filmfare Award for the Best Actress role in Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and "Most Sensational Female" award from "New York's Bollywood" for her performance in Duplicate.

The talented actress outshined herself with her delightful cameos in Bol Radha Bol, Darr, Yes Boss, Arjun Pandit and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani and made her own place in the industry with chirpy giggle. Being a beauty queen too Juhi successfully carved a position of the innocent, bubbly and glamour girl in the Bollywood. From the movie Lootre she came into the limelight of glamour gal too. Juhi is married to her lover boy from London, an industrialist, Jai Mehta, and now she is mother of the two children. But she still enjoys her profession and currently also works for Punjabi movies too, like Des Hoye Pardes, And newly seen in Waaris Shah- Ishq Da Waaris.

On a personal front Juhi is a compassionate, trustworthy friend, which embedded her on people minds for long. She has worked with all the top heroes of the Bollywood and enjoyed a good rapport in the industry. In the partnership of Shahrukh Khan and Aziz Mirza she started a production company "Dreamz Unlimited" too, which, never proved to be lucky to her. But in acting number of new projects are still coming on her way.
