2009:
* Activated to 53-man roster the same day and played on special teams at NE (9/14).
* Assigned to practice squad in Week 2.

* Vs. MIA (11/29), tallied his first career reception, good for a 17-yard gain.
* Vs. NYJ (12/3), registered his first career start as the Bills came out in a two tight end set and had one catch for one yard.

Attended State College Area High School… Set a school record with 45 receptions for 515 yards as a senior… Posted 75 tackles on defense… Was a All-Conference selection his last two years… also played basketball… was a honor roll student… son of Cheryl and Steve Stupar… father, Steve, played at Penn State and he is a nephew of former NFL quarterback Jeff Hostetler… majored in sports medicine..is an avid golfer and bowler.
COMMUNITY:
In 2008, Jonathan participated in the Toyota Rookie Club appearing at numerous community events throughout Western New York and Southern Ontario. Each month, Jonathan and all first year players did one community appearance as a group. During the 2008 season the Toyota Rookie Club events included a visit to Women’s and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, the Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, a trip to the Northwest Buffalo Community Center to serve Thanksgiving Dinner and hosted the Annual Bills Holiday Party for children at Ralph Wilson Stadium to approximately 300 children and families.
In 2009, ABC’s hit show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to Buffalo’s West Side. Jonathan, along with other Bills players participated on move in day. Jonathan and his fellow teammates carried in couches, mattresses, tables and chairs to make the family feel at home again. Once the move was complete, Jonathan hung around on the construction site to sign autographs and pose for pictures with the other volunteers and ABC’s crew!
