Jonathan Knight life and biography

Jonathan Knight is an American singer. Knight is part of the boyband New Kids on the Block. The band also includes Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and Jonathan's younger brother Jordan. He is the oldest member of the group and was the first to leave the group in 1994 prior to their official disbanding.

Jonathan was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to parents Marlene Putnam and Allan Knight. He is the 5th of 6 children: Allison, Sharon, David, Christopher, Jonathan, and Jordan.

From the 80's to 90's NKOTB played around the world to sold out concerts, and sold millions of albums. The group took time off before their last album "Face The Music" was released, and during the tour for that album, Knight decided to call it quits. Suffering from an anxiety and panic disorder, he no longer felt that he could continue performing. Knight retired to his Massachusetts farm, where he raised horses. He now works in real estate and stays out of the spotlight.
