CAREER
Signed by Atlanta on April 27, 2009. Was a three-year starter at quarterback for Alabama and finished his career having completed 664 of 1,174 passes for 7,894 yards and 46 touchdowns. In 2008, led the Crimson Tide to a 12-2 record, which included victories against the third-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, ninth-ranked Clemson Tigers and 15th-ranked LSU Tigers in the season finale. His career pass attempts, completions, yards and touchdowns all sit atop the Alabama passing charts. Named the team's Offensive Achievement Award co-winner in 2007 and earned the 2008 Johnny Musso Offensive Back Award.

Designated as the third quarterback for the Falcons from Weeks 1-12 and Weeks 15-17. Served as the team's backup quarterback in Weeks 13 and 14, but did not play.

Attended Hoover High School (Hoover, AL) and was a three-year starter leading the Buccaneers to state titles in 2002 and '03. Completed 615 of 978 passes for 8,170 yards and 78 touchdowns in his career. Went 314 of 467 for 2,821 yards and 40 touchdowns as a senior 2003 Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year Parade High School All-America honoree Alabama Sports Writers Association and The Montgomery News Player of the Year in 2003.
