Johanna Larsson is a Swedish tennis player. Her career high ranking is World No. 64 on October 11, 2010.

CAREER:

2010:
Johanna started the year playing two $25,000 events in the United States; in the first tournament in Plantation Larsson made the final knocking out top seed Maret Ani en route, Johanna was beaten in the final by Ajla Tomljanović. In the second event in Lutz, Larsson made the quarter-finals where she was defeated by Mariana Duque Marino. Johanna stayed unbeaten in singles and doubles throughout the four ties she played in Fed Cup, Sweden won promotion to the World Group 2 playoffs. Unseeded in the $50,000+H tournament in Biberach tournament, Larsson was the winner (at the current time this is Johanna's biggest singles title). Larsson captured her 10th ITF singles title in Clearwater, taking the $25,000 title.

Larsson made her grand slam main draw debut at 2010 French Open; in the first round she defeated Anastasija Sevastova 6–2 6–2 before losing to Akgul Amanmuradova 7–6(2) 6–2 in the second round. Following Roland Garros Johanna played the $100.000+H tournament in Marseille, Larsson reach the finals but lost to Klára Zakopalová 6–3 6–3 and has already taken the doubles title with Yvonne Meusburger. She then fell in the first round of qualifying of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships.

She then fell in the first round of the 2010 Swedish Open to Renata Voráčová 6–3 2–6 6–4. At the 2010 ECM Prague Open, she reached her first WTA Tour quarterfinals after the withdrawal of top seed Lucie Šafářová in the second round but fell to Barbora Záhlavová-Strýcová 6–2 4–6 7–5 in the quarterfinals.

Larsson then continued her form at the 2010 Banka Koper Slovenia Open, as she defeated 8th-seeded countrywoman Sofia Arvidsson 7–6(1), 6–2 in the first round and Maria Elena Camerin 7–5, 6–1 in the second round. Then in the quarterfinals she caused a bigger upset, defeating 3rd-seeded Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6–3, 6–2 and Ksenia Pervak 6–2, 1–0 ret to reach her first WTA Tour Finals. However she lost to Anna Chakvetadze 6–1, 6–2. After this tournament she reached a career-high ranking of World No. 66.

Larsson then competed in the 2010 İstanbul Cup and defeated 8th seed Patty Schnyder in the first round 6–4, 6–2.

In Quebec City, she won her first WTA double title with Sofia Arvidsson.
