Joe Kelly Hawley is an American football offensive guard of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

CAREER

Competed in 47 career games with 33 starts at UNLV as a center and right guard. Started every contest as a junior and senior (2008-'09). A talented blocker who was a leader on the offensive line throughout his collegiate career.

2009 SEASON
Started all 12 contests at right guard as a senior. Was a preseason second-team All-MWC selection by Phil Steele's. Was named a honorable mention All-MWC selection. Won the Rebel Spirit Award, given to the senior who showed the most toughness, positive attitude and strong commitment to his teammates. Did not give up a sack at his position all season.

2008 SEASON
Displayed his versatility by starting seven games at center and five games at right guard. Allowed only one quarterback sack all season.

2007 SEASON
Played in all 12 games, starting in nine at center. Was named a preseason second-team All-MWC selection as a center by Lindy's.

2006 SEASON
Earned his first letter as a true freshman, competing in 11 games at guard.

PERSONAL

Attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California and was a three-year letterwinner for the Aztecs. Earned 2005 PrepStar All-West Region Honors as he helped his team to an 11-3 record and an appearance in the state finals. Was named a the Sunset League Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2005. Also threw discus for the track team. A native of Yorba Linda, California.
