Jessica Stroup life and biography

Jessica Stroup is an American actress and fashion model. Stroup is best known for her role as Erin Silver on The CW television series 90210, a spin-off to the original Beverly Hills, 90210. She is also known for starring in such feature length films such as Prom Night and The Hills Have Eyes 2.

Stroup was born in Anderson, South Carolina, the daughter of Judy and Don Stroup, a senior vice president at Wachovia. She spent her childhood in Charlotte, North Carolina. A friend's mother was a former Miss North Carolina and encouraged Stroup to pursue modeling. She graduated from Providence High School (North Carolina) in 2004. Stroup was offered a scholarship to attend the University of Georgia, but turned it down to pursue an acting career.

At only 17, she moved to Los Angeles and immediately took acting classes and received both modeling and acting offers. Since then, Jessica has starred in several hit horror movies including Prom Night (2008/I) and The Hills Have Eyes II (2007), and is booked a lead role in the brand new spin-off "90210" (2008) as one of the lead characters, "Erin Silver". In her spare time, Jessica enjoys hanging out with friends and family, watching movies, playing volleyball and listening to music.
