Talented Bhangra artist Jaz Dhami is making his name known worldwide. The 23rd year old relates a lot of his success to his training. After six years of schooling from Professor Hari Dev Ji he continued his Punjab training at Chandigarh University and was then accepted to the Paul McCartney School of Music in England.
He sets out to establish himself as a playback singer. With an uncle that is a music director for Bollywood, he has high ambitions to succeed in that arena. He has a recording studio in Mumbai where he's had the opportunity to work with well-known artists like Lata Ji, the kind of people he has looked up to.
He first appeared on Aman Hayer's "Groundshaker 2" album on the track "Sadi Jind Jaan." Jaz Dhami has released crowd pleasing videos for "Roj Milliye" and "Theke Wali." His debut album "Jaz Dhami" is on the list for the top 10 Albums in UK iTunes store World Section. "Theke Wali" also makes it in the World Music Top 10 Songs in the UK iTunes store.
Jaz Dhami is genuine with a traditional Punjabi sound encompassing dhol beats and a touch of folk. He sings in Punjabi and tells love stories that will capture your heart. The artist puts a focus on Bhangra in efforts to keep Punjabi music alive and fresh. "Sona Munda" was the first track off of his debut album, a track that allows Jaz Dhami to showcase his immense musical training and passion.
