Mitchell has appeared in 29 regular season games, recording five sacks and one forced fumble. He recorded a career-high two sacks against New England on October 30, 2006. He has appeared in two games this season with one tackle, an eight-yard sack at New Orleans on September 9. Mitchell started 20 of 45 career games at Ole Miss (2002-05), where he posted 105 career tackles and five sacks.
