Jake Scott is a tenacious, hard-nosed blocker that has been a durable player, starting all 16 games each of the last five seasons. The seventh-year pro has the ability to play either guard position and has even started three games at right tackle during his career. The Idaho product is a seasoned veteran of the postseason having qualified for the playoffs in five of his first six seasons in the NFL, including winning a Super Bowl with the Colts in 2006.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2009, Scott was a member of an offensive line that blocked for the NFL’s second-best rushing attack (162.0 yards per game) and opened holes for Chris Johnson who became just the sixth player in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards. Also, part of an offensive front that allowed just 16 sacks, the second fewest in the NFL.
• In 2006, Scott started all 16 regular season games at right guard for the Super Bowl XLI champions and helped the offensive line surrender a league-low 15 sacks, the third consecutive season the team accomplished the feat.

• Scott, a former walk-on at the University of Idaho, started 45 games during his four-year collegiate career. He is one of just two Vandals players since 2001 to be selected in the NFL Draft when the Colts picked him in the fifth round in 2004.
• Scott wasted no time meeting and greeting the Titans faithful as he took part in Titans Caravan 2008, visiting fans in Martin, Dyersburg and Dyer. Scott’s Caravan schedule also took him to Kentucky with stops in Mayfield, Princeton and Paducah.

• Former walk-on started 11 games as freshman on offense that averaged 453.2 yards per game and redshirted in 1999.
