Howard Green, Jr. is an American football defensive tackle who currently plays for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Houston Texans in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana State.

Green has also played for the Baltimore Ravens, New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins and the New York Jets.

The Green Bay Packers claimed NT Howard Green off waivers from the N.Y. Jets on October 27, 2010.

Green, a 6-foot-2, 340-pound sixth-year player out of Louisiana State, has played in 51 career games with 12 starts. He entered the NFL as a sixth-round draft choice (190th overall) by Houston in 2002, and went on to play in one game for Baltimore in 2002, 18 games with New Orleans from 2003-04, 18 games with Seattle from 2007-08, and 14 games with the Jets over the past two years, including two contests this season. All 12 of Green’s career starts came with New Orleans in 2004. He will wear No. 95.
