Harry Douglas, IV is an American football wide receiver for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisville.

CAREER

Contributed heavily in his rookie campaign, participating in every contest and took over punt return duties halfway through the season. Posted a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown against Carolina (11/23/08), the Falcons first punt return for a score since 2004. Was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week (12) following his performance against the Carolina Panthers in 2008.

Suffered a knee injury during training camp and was placed on injured reserve for the season.

2008 (FALCONS)
In 16 games, caught 23 passes for 329 yards (13.9 avg.) a long reception of 69 yards and one touchdown. Also added 12 rushes for 69 yards and a score and 19 punt returns for 226 yards and a 61-yard return for a touchdown in Week 12. Posted a career-high 33 rushing yards on one carry at Tampa Bay (9/14) in addition to adding two receptions for 34 yards. Hauled in a career-high five grabs for a career-high 96 yards vs. Chicago (10/12). Logged 188 all-purpose yards vs. Carolina (11/23) by recording 92 receiving yards on four catches, three rushing yards with one score on two carries and a career-high 93 punt return yards on three attempts with one touchdown. His 61-yard punt return in the fourth quarter was the first punt returned for a touchdown by a Falcon since Allen Rossum in 2004 (at KC, 10/24/04). Earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his performance. Recorded three receptions for 13 yards and his first career receiving touchdown at San Diego (11/30) in addition to posting two punt returns for 32 yards.

COLLEGE

Graduated ranking second in school history with 2,924 receiving yards while his 173 receptions ranked fifth on the school's all-time record list. Douglas' 173 catches were also tied with Reggie Wayne for the sixth highest amount in Big East history. Totaled 15 career touchdowns which placed him seventh in Louisville annals. Became the first player in school history to gain over 200 yards receiving twice in a career, totaling 205 yards against Syracuse and 223 yards against Kentucky, which set the school's game-record and tied a conference record. Also returned punts and kickoffs in his four-year tenure in a Cardinals uniform.

PERSONAL

Attended Jonesboro (Georgia) High School and was a first-team all-county and honorable mention all-state selection as a senior. Was one of only three players to receive all nine sports writers' votes for first-team all-region accolades in 2002. Caught 40 passes for 831 yards and seven touchdowns during his final campaign. Was an all-region selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in basketball as he averaged 20.5 points per game. Political Science major.
