Hamady N'Diaye is a Senegalese professional basketball player. Prior to the 2010 NBA Draft, N'Diaye was the starting center for the Rutgers men's basketball team, the Scarlet Knights.

Draft rights acquired by Washington along with the draft rights to Trevor Booker from Minnesota in exchange for the draft rights to Lazar Hayward and Nemanja Bjelica (6/24/10).

COLLEGE:

Was named 2009-10 Big East Conference Defensive Player of the Year…Set the Rutgers all-time blocks mark with 358…Had 16 career games with six or more blocks and 61 games with at least three blocks…Led Rutgers with 66 dunks and 11 three-point plays during the 2009-10 season…Led the Big East and ranked third nationally with 4.5 blocks per game during his senior season…Was one rejection shy of a triple-double against NJIT (12/19/09) by posting 11 points, 13 rebounds and nine blocks...Was two blocks shy of a triple- double against Monmouth (12/9/09) with a season-high 22 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks on a 7-for-11 shooting performance.

On June 24, 2010, N'Diaye was drafted to the Minnesota Timberwolves as the 56th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft. His draft rights were then traded to the Washington Wizards. On January 6, 2011, N'Diaye was assigned to the Dakota Wizards of the NBA D-League. He was recalled on February 4, 2011.
